Ependymoma Day 7 May 2016

Ependymoma Day

Ependymoma Day is all about honouring children fighting a rare form of brain and spinal tumor/s called Ependymoma.  Residents in Lonehill have shared in Layla’s journey and each year come together to celebrate the lives of the children who have fought the fight, who are still fighting againstEpendymoma and for the children who have gained their wings.

Ependy Angels will be hosting their third annual Ependymoma Day butterfly release in Lonehill on Saturday, 7 May.   The butterfly release will be held in the Lappies Park, Concourse Crescent where survivors and sufferers will join hands with family and friends as they personally release butterflies in honour of all the heroes before them and angels like them.

This is a day where the community comes together to support this form of rare brain and spinal cancer, giving hope to others, inspiring daily and showing compassion when it matters most.  Butterflies available www.quicket.co.za under Ependymoma Day 7 May Lonehill Lappies Park.  For further details please click here
